Mission and Vision

Our goals are to enlighten the public about the many uses of the cannabis plant. We are also geared towards eradicating the stigma one fact at a time through community involvement.

The Silver Leaf team brings New Jersey a team of medical professionals, pharmacists, and cannabis experts with decades of experience in their respective fields. The team has an impeccable record in owning and successfully operating highly-regulated pharmacies, a strong local presence and owned pharmacies within New Jersey, and is a minority-owned, women-majority team that is passionate about giving equal opportunities for all New Jersey locals. The team has a solid track record for patient education, which is something we fully expect to integrate into our dispensary operations as part of our core business model.

The pharmacy business launched by Dr. Jessy Vikani was built from the ground up, and subsequently converted into a highly successful business resulting in the accumulation of numerous awards—including being recognized as the best in all of Ocean County—for excellence in customer service and community involvement. Our ability to launch, operate, and succeed in a highly-regulated industry dealing with State and Federal drug regulations has been the prominent factor as to why we are confident in our ability to operate a dispensary. Additionally, the Silver Leaf team has a cannabis expert who is experienced in both the business and hands-on operating aspects of licensed cannabis businesses. We are confident that our team will positively impact the community through our activism, professionalism, experience, and commitment to promoting the patient’s well-being. We describe each of these individuals below.

Dr. Jessy Vikani (CEO of Silver Leaf) | Owner/Pharmacist of Jessy Patel LLC, Whiting Pharmacy, & Bayville Pharmacy

Dr. Vikani received a doctorate degree from Long Island University in New York (2012). As a founder of Whiting and Bayville Pharmacy, Jessy has made a lifelong commitment to making an impact in the community. With this goal, Jessey helped build a team of brilliant, entrepreneurial-spirited, and efficient individuals that resonate with her pharmacy’s vision, which as successfully steered the pharmacies to be a more successful company year after year. Jessy believes that innovation begins with using technology as a catalyst for an organization, maintaining processes, heightening brand visibility, and supporting her employees too, in turn, to give her customers excellent service. Her businesses are strongly rooted in the community from volunteering at the local food bank to donating to the local charitable organization, and her pharmacies and pharmacists are viewed as community leaders. Jessy has made various presentations in the local community about opioid awareness using Generation RX Organization; their focus is on decreasing opioid use and awareness about opioid overdose, a topic which Jessy is incredibly passionate about. She donates her time at the Lion’s Club for free healthcare assessment to the underprivileged part of the community, as well as offers free diabetes monitoring. Jessy is a part of American Legion Whiting Business Association, where she has invested her time to promote health and wellness in the community she faithfully serves.

Dr. Toral Patel (Chief Compliance Officer of Silver Leaf)

Dr. Patel received both her B.A. in Biology (minor Psychology) from Rutgers University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Institute of Technology. She started her own physical therapy business in 2013 and has since been actively serving the community to the best of her ability. She is a certified yoga instructor and has been practicing yoga for several years, and actively practices physical therapy in the Somerset community. She has found yoga and physical therapy work nicely together to create a healing environment that focuses on the dualities and relationships between mind and body, flexibility and strength, stability and movement. Dr. Patel is passionate about helping people and getting them back to their active lifestyles. Dr. Patel also hosts weekly exercises sessions at adult day care, monthly health lectures on arthritis, and coping up with pain at Piscataway and South Plainfield Senior Centers, volunteering at Piscataway annual toy and shoe drives.
